How WorkKE Research compiles its data

Every WorkKE statistic is computed from records on the WorkKE platform — jobs posted, projects completed, payouts settled and registered members across Kenya. Figures are recomputed on a schedule and each carries the date it was last computed. WorkKE does not publish estimates it cannot trace to its own records.

WorkKE Kenya Labour & Digital Work Methodology

    Version 1.0 · Updated 2026-08-14

Combines official Kenyan statistics (KNBS Economic Survey and MSME Survey, CBK, Communications Authority) with multilateral and industry research (World Bank, ILO, GSMA, DataReportal, WEF, Microsoft) and first-party WorkKE platform data covering registrations, jobs, proposals, escrow payments, verification and Academy activity. Forward-looking statements are labelled WorkKE Research Outlook: reasoned scenarios, not guarantees. Platform figures reflect an early-stage marketplace and are reported as directional signals rather than national estimates.
