Our Story
How WorkKE began and where we're headed
WorkKE was born from a simple observation: East Africa has an abundance of talented young people with digital skills, but finding legitimate work opportunities remained a challenge. Meanwhile, businesses and individuals needed affordable, quality digital services but struggled to find reliable providers.
We set out to bridge this gap by creating a platform that not only connects clients with freelancers but also integrates local cybercafés as service hubs. Our unique approach recognizes that in many African communities, cybercafés serve as vital digital access points.
Today, WorkKE is growing rapidly, serving over 1,650+ users across Kenya and expanding to Uganda, Tanzania, and beyond. Our commitment to trust, through secure escrow payments and verification systems, has made us a trusted partner for digital work in East Africa.
